As the Data Processor, Intergomma SpA provides any users who consult and/or interact with this website with the Privacy Policy applicable to identified or identifiable parties, pursuant to article no. 13, Legislative Decree no.196/2003, on Data Security and a description of how the website is managed.



In connection with the online services of this website, data are processed at the headquarters by technical staff from the data-processing department or occasionally by maintenance operators. Data processing may be outsourced to contractors specialising in collecting information about website access and browsing, in order to operate the service and the sections that require the user to be identified, and personal data are used to technically operate the website and occasionally for statistic analyses about how the website is used. Personal data provided by users who ask for information and literature (catalogues, enquiries, contact details) are solely used to perform the requested service or task, and are not disclosed to any third party unless needed to such end (e.g. to send the material).



Browsing data. Usually, the electronic systems and software procedures that run this website may store personal data that users provide when using any online communication protocol. Such data will not be matched with identified users but, because of their nature, if processed or associated with other people’s details, they could make the user identifiable. Such data include IP addresses or domain names of the users’ computer, URIs (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested materials, time of enquiry, method of enquiry, size of received file, numerical code of server’s response Status (successful, error, etc.), and other information about the user’s operating system and IT environment. Such data are only processed into anonymous statistics to get an insight into the way the website is used and how well it works, and they are deleted once processed. Data could be used to investigate cyber-crimes: except for such circumstance, data about web contacts are deleted after no more than seven days. User’s voluntary data. When users optionally, expressly or voluntarily send an email to the addresses listed in this website, the senders’ addresses are saved to respond to their requests, along with any other personal data included in the message. Specific notices may be eventually posted or showed on the pages of the website for special services and/or purposes, and explicit consent forms are also posted whenever needed.


Except as we said about browsing data, users are free to provide their personal data through the enquiry forms or otherwise named as Contacts to send enquiries or for any other communication. Such data need to be provided if the user wants to receive what they asked for.


Personal data are processed on hardcopy just for the time it takes to achieve the purposes they have been collected for. Specific safety measures are taken to prevent any loss of data, illegal or improper use, or unauthorised access to such data.



Specific safety measures are taken to operate the website for the user’s safe access and to protect the information contained on the website from the risk of any direct or consequential loss or destruction. The antivirus software used to operate this website is regularly updated to prevent data loss as a consequence of a virus infection. Note, also, that, while adequate antivirus systems are used within the website, users are legally bound and recommended to equip their workstations with antivirus scanning software. To log in to the subscriber-only section of the website, an ID code and a password may be applied for; passwords are generated without details that could be easily matched with the subscriber, to prevent misuse. Users shall keep their passwords safely and shall not disclose them to anyone.
